RESERVATIONS / PAYMENTS

RATES

All rates are per person, in U.S. dollars and based on double adult occupancy. Cruise rates include cabin, all meals/entertainment and Olivia staff assistance. Rates do not include airfare, port tax, gratuities or optional port excursions. Resort rates include all meals, beverages and cocktails.

DEPOSIT

A deposit of $300 per person is required at the time of booking to secure a reservation, unless otherwise noted. Deposits are non-refundable.

FORMS OF PAYMENT

Payments may be made by auto debit, Discover Card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, check or money order. Special offers are valid until date noted.

PAYMENT PLAN

An administration fee of $8 per person will be charged for each auto debit payment. The fee is $15 per person per payment for payment plans using check or credit card. A $50 fee applies to payment plan changes. Fee to switch from current payment plan to auto debit waived from 1/15/05 to 3/31/05. Non-sufficient fund fee is $25.

CANCELLATION FEES

For reservations on Mexican Riviera, Eastern Caribbean, Alaska Discovery, Caribbean Resort Comedy Extravaganza, Western Caribbean, Turkoise Resort and Olivia Outdoors vacations, these cancellation fees apply:

•  180 days or more prior to commencing travel: $600 per person

•  90-179 days prior to commencing travel: 55% of total trip cost

•  60-89 days prior to commencing travel: 80% of total trip cost

•  0-59 days prior to commencing travel: 100% of total trip cost (no refund)

For reservations on Galapagos, Far East, Tahiti or Greek Isles, these cancellation fees

•  270 days or more prior to commencing travel: $850 per person

•  269-210 days prior to commencing travel: 30% of total trip cost

•  209-150 days prior to commencing travel: 55% of total trip cost

•  149-120 days prior to commencing travel: 80% of total trip cost

•  119-0 days prior to commencing travel: 100% of total trip cost (no refund)

Please note that Olivia vacations cannot be re-sold and are not transferable. All vacation stretchers are non-refundable except as noted in the Olivia catalog.

Please note that a cancellation is not effective until it is received in writing from all parties at the Olivia office at 434 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA 94107.

NAME CHANGES

$100 per person is charged for name changes. A name can be changed one time. The primary name on reservation cannot be changed. Requests must be made 30 days prior to departure.

LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS

Bookings made less than 30 days prior to departure date are subject to a $50 surcharge for rush processing.

NON-DISCOUNTABLE AMOUNT

Non-discountable amount (NDA), which includes port taxes and gratuities, is not included in the advertised fare. This amount is not subject to any promotional discounts and is subject to change without notice.

AIRFARE

Rates do not include airfare, except when stated. Ask a travel consultant about special airfare packages.

GROUP RATES

Group rates are available.

PRE-DEPARTURE PACKETS

Confirmations are mailed upon booking. Olivia documents will be mailed three to four weeks prior to departure.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Proof of citizenship is required for all trips. A valid passport is preferred, but a valid government issued photo identification plus birth certificate or affidavit of citizenship are acceptable for U.S. and Canadian citizens traveling to Mexico, Canada or the Caribbean. A valid passport is required for travel to all other countries.

AGE

All guests traveling with Olivia (with the exception of the Olivia Kids & Family vacations) must be 21 years or older.

PASSENGERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Whenever possible, Olivia tries to accommodate guests with special needs. However, the following conditions apply: Any physical disability or mental condition that requires special treatment or attention must be reported to Olivia when the reservation is made; Olivia has the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgment, is in a physical or mental condition unfit for travel or who may require care beyond that which Olivia can provide; Olivia reserves the right to deny participation in certain activities based on past or present medical conditions.

Contact our Guest Services Department; all guests with disabilities must be self-sufficient and should travel with a passenger who will provide any necessary assistance during the trip or in the event of an emergency; and guests who use a wheelchair must provide their own small, collapsible chair and may find certain areas inaccessible.
